Old Hickory
This brick home had a few areas finished in vinyl siding — the front elevation, a small section beneath the kitchen window, and part of a former garage that had been converted into interior space. The homeowner wanted a refreshed, more polished look, and we recommended an upgrade in both materials and design.
We replaced the vinyl with fiber cement siding for a sharper appearance and improved durability. Most of the siding was done in lap style to maintain consistency, while the front elevation received a board and batten treatment for added dimension, along with a staggered-edge shake detail in the gable. Soffits were rebuilt with vented fiber cement panels (solid on the gable ends), and all fascia was replaced with low-maintenance white composite trim.
New 6” white K-style gutters were installed to finish the edges cleanly and handle water runoff effectively. The entire siding and soffit package was finished in Mesa Verde Tan, a color chosen to pair well with the existing brick while giving the exterior a cohesive, well-executed look. The result is a subtle but meaningful transformation — focused, durable, and far more refined.
